Washington drivers can now choose license plates featuring Mount St. Helens, the volcano in the southwestern part of the state that erupted in 1980. Previously, the plates were available only to a limited group of motorists, but they can now be ordered by anyone who prefers a local symbol to the familiar image of Mount Rainier.
