Acting President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez announced the country's first-ever export shipment of a gas molecule, saying that the vessel is already in the country and will depart within the next few hours, and that video of the event will be released to the public. The announcement was made at the Miraflores presidential palace during the presentation of a partial reform to the Hydrocarbons Law, recently approved by parliament.
