Paraguay and Venezuela Aim to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

The presidents of Paraguay and Venezuela, Santiago Peña and Delcy Rodríguez, said after a working meeting at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas that the unity between the two countries needed to be strengthened. Following the talks, the parties signed a joint agreement, while Peña thanked Venezuela for its welcome and the spirit of cooperation, emphasizing his desire to bring the peoples of Paraguay and Venezuela closer together. Rodríguez noted that cooperation should benefit both countries, their peoples, and Latin America as a whole, since regional integration helps address modern challenges. The meeting was part of the governments’ efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and open a new stage of cooperation.
