Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez announced that 1,046 citizens who had been detained have returned home under agreements reached among various political and social forces in the country. In a post on the social network X, she said the authorities were reaffirming their commitment to national reconciliation and intended to continue the process responsibly. According to the authorities, the prisoners’ release is aimed at strengthening political and social stability, as well as helping citizens return to normal life and reintegrate into their communities.
