Syria’s state news agency SANA reported a powerful explosion at one of the Syrian army’s sites in the Al-Eis area south of Aleppo, followed by a series of further blasts. Faisal Mohammed Ali, head of civil defense operations in Aleppo, said that explosions in the Al-Eis area were still continuing, preventing ambulances and rescue teams from reaching the site. He also warned civilians not to approach the blast zone while rescue operations were under way.
