Diosdado Cabello, head of Venezuela’s ruling party, said that none of the opposition leaders who had returned to the country has provided real assistance to residents of the state of La Guaira, who were affected by the recent earthquakes. Cabello also noted that some of them even asked the government’s supporters for water and mattresses for later distribution, which he deemed hypocritical.
