Summer in Seattle is in full swing: starting July 16, the city and the surrounding area offer several ways to spend the evening—everything from Candlelight candlelit concerts and outdoor theater showings to subtitle-supported music movie screenings. At the same time, fairs and festivals are getting underway, with food, beer, music, and rides; in the coming days, scavenger hunts, parades, and waterfront and neighborhood parties are set to be added. If you want to switch things up, the lineup also includes family events, art-focused weekends, and seasonal sailboat walks on schooners that turn a regular route into a little adventure.
