The first week of October will turn Seattle and its surroundings into one large celebration stage, with concerts by Jungle, The Neighbourhood, Sting, Aespa and other artists; jazz and blues festivals; ballet, theater, poetry readings and art walks. Fans of the fall season can enjoy Oktoberfests, harvest festivals, pumpkin beer and chocolate festivals, as well as Greek and Turkish celebrations. Families can choose from parades, science and cultural programs, a miniature railway and a free day at state parks. The schedule also includes sporting events, food tours, wine tastings, Halloween attractions and unusual happenings — from a fantasy-themed quest to a party on a ferry.
