The last full week of August will turn the Seattle area into one large outdoor stage, with concerts by Gipsy Kings, The Strokes, Alison Krauss + Union Station, and Cake; jazz evenings; movies in the parks; and theater productions, including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Festivalgoers can look forward to Festival Sundiata, a Latin music celebration, Snoqualmie Days, the Evergreen State Fair, and a kite festival, while families can choose from a circus, Princess Picnic, science exhibits, and free city programs. The schedule also includes Mariners, Storm, and Tacoma Rainiers games; wine walks; cooking classes; architecture tours; and free admission to national parks on August 25.
