Starting June 24, Seattle noticeably comes to life: from the big Don Toliver concert at Climate Pledge and FIFA World Cup championship matches to movies in outdoor parks, summer walks along the bay, and tasting tours around Pike Place. These days also bring plenty of opportunities for “easygoing city leisure” — from free park entertainment and concerts to family activities and themed festivals across the region. A special focus of the week is cultural formats and celebrations: intimate classical music in the format of The Concert Truck at dozens of venues, as well as theatrical and circus performances. On June 27–28, Pride events and several local festivals will take center stage.
