Pacific Place in Seattle to Become "Soccer House" for the 2026 World Cup

The Seattle organizing committee announced that the Pacific Place shopping center will become a free fan zone for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup. From June 15 to July 2, and again July 6–7, the vast 27,000-square-foot space, named Seattle Soccer House, will be open to all ages without prior registration or ticket purchase. The main attraction will be a 70-foot screen allowing matches to be viewed from four levels at once.

The Soccer House area will be divided into six themed zones. These include the "Forest Entrance" with a world map where visitors can mark their country, the "Watering Hole" with a marine theme and a bar, the "Urban Core" with the main screen and a tournament-bracket wall, and the "Pitch" with a mini-turf area for children and creative zones. Separately featured are the "Pacific Market" with souvenirs and a VIP space called the "Summit Club," styled like a mountain lodge.

Organizers have prioritized accessibility: there will be seating for wheelchair users, captions and audio description for blind and visually impaired and hard-of-hearing fans, as well as nonalcoholic beverages. Seattle Soccer House will be one of four official fan zones, alongside sites at Seattle Center, Pier 62, and Victory Hall, making the city a true hub of football festivities in 2026.
