What's happening in Seattle May 24–31

The week of May 24–31 promises to be busy: from intimate tributes and cozy candlelit concerts to large outdoor amphitheater shows and open‑air festivals. On the evening of May 24 Royal Room hosts a Bob Dylan tribute, and that same day Chateau Ste. Michelle kicks off its summer concert series with Yellowcard; downtown at Seattle Center the large Folklife festival unfolds with music, dance, and street food. Theater fans can see The Phantom of the Opera and Blue Man Group; family events include HONK! Fest West and Orca Fest; and outdoor enthusiasts will find bike and running events, guided walks and bus trips to trailheads. Seasonal programs run throughout the week — from sailing cruises and concerts at the Ballard Locks to food tours and wine tastings in Woodinville; rugby and baseball games, cabaret festivals, and a big lineup of concerts at the Gorge and Benaroya Hall round out the calendar.
